If you are looking at a high-end hotel in Phuket Patong or a luxurious resort in Bangkok, then yes, the food will be a bit on the expensive side However, if you opt for street food or go to medium sized restaurants, you will be surprised how much you can eat with a small budget. Thailand is not shy with its selection of food, so make the most use of this and try and many different food items as you can. To pay less than half of what you would pay at a fancy restaurant while enjoying quality food, stick to street food, with all your heart.
Getting around within Thailand
It is relatively easier and cheaper to get around in Thailand, as opposed tom most other tourist destinations. The cheapest option of course is to use local public transport. Local busses are hands down the cheapest of them all. Metros are also available for public use, at a slightly higher price. Tuk tuks are generally expensive. Especially when they are metred ad the drivers know the passenger is a foreigner.

Just like there’s lot of food and places to say, there is also a lot of things to do around in Thailand. Relaxing beaches top the list. Water sports like jet skiing, surfing, swimming etc. should not be missed. Thailand boasts many picturesque destinations that are worth your time, and can take half of your Instagram newsfeed.
